Meet James

James is a qualified Architect with 25 years of experience in private practice. Following 10 years as a director at Purcell, the UK’s largest conservation practice where he was responsible for the leadership, mentoring, HR, profitability, business development, architectural design, and delivery of multi funded mix use projects.

As a result, James brings a wealth of valuable strategic business skills, management, and leadership developed throughrecently leading a multidiscipline team in a £35m mixed-use regeneration scheme at Blackburn Cathedral in partnership with the Local Authority, the Housing and Community Agency and private developers. 

James’s role is to ensure the delivery of both the architectural design and the high-quality accommodation and finish of the Harrison Hunt product. Focused on the end user but working with the whole design team, main contractors and specialist subcontractors with a determination to achieve the exclusive finish in our developments.
